James and Nicole began training and working together in 2007, concentrating on duo trapeze. Combining their artistic and technical strengths, they developed their own unique take on a classic piece of equipment. A sensual duet on a spinning bar...daring tricks intertwine with beautiful artistry to create a visual crescendo, with an effortlessness that seems to defy gravity itself.

James had studied mathematics at Cambridge University before starting work in an investment bank. However, he soon decided that this was not the life for him and began training at Circomedia in Bristol, UK, specializing in acrobatics and trapeze. He has gone on to perform across the globe with many different acts. Highlights include the Coca-Cola Active Festival in Israel; The Ashes at Lord's Cricket Ground; Glastonbury Festival; and as part of the BP Ultimate campaign across Europe. He has also appeared in TV commercials for Hitachi and Smirnoff.
Nicole has performed on the international stage from a young age. Having trained at the Montreal Circus School, she went on to perform for circus and theatre companies across the USA. Nicole returned to the UK in 2006, and is currently working as a freelance aerial artist. She has been featured at such high-scale events as the 2007 Royal Variety Show, The Princess Diana Memorial concert, and the Women's World Cup football final, 2009. She was also privileged to be a part of the 2010 Commonwealth Games Torch Relay - carrying the torch whilst suspended from a balloon!
